Obituary
It is with heavy hearts, the family of the late Judith Ann Delaney announce her passing which occurred at her home on Saturday, December 18th, 2021. Born 1949, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Lillian (Godwin) Mason. Judy was a mother and an artist who enjoyed volunteering her artistic and business talents to businesses in Saint John such as the Exhibition grounds and the Rehab Store. Judy was a talented interior decorator which she loved to dabble in from time to time. She was passionate in all aspects of her life including family, friends, business, animals in need, community and so much more. She was highly regarded by business associates, friends and neighbours and will be sorely missed.
Judith is survived by her daughters Tanya MacNeill (Michael) of Saint John, NB, Toby Clark (Todd) of Saint John, Erika Bennett (Jeffrey) of Augusta, ME; son Stephen Delaney Jr. (Kate) of Passekaeg, NB; sisters Dianne Craft (John) of Bloomfield NB, Susan Cosman of British Columbia, Brenda Steer (Paul) of British Columbia; brother Tom Mason (Angela) of Blacks Harbor; 6 granddaughters; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Judith was predeceased by her brother Lynn Mason.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Judith’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Judith may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
