Obituary of Joyce Rammeloo
Rammeloo: Joyce (nee Martin) –
A resident of Ridgetown, Joyce Rammeloo passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 78.
Born and raised in Chatham, Joyce was the daughter of the late Fred and Bernice (Livingston) Martin. At the age of six, Joyce met Ludwig, who she eventually married, and spent 44 wonderful years.
Loving mother of Jennie Vaughan (David) of Highgate, Connie Bettencourt (William) of Pennsylvania and Lloyd Haskell (Becky) of Goderich. Predeceased by her son Ro Haskell (Elvira) of Cambridge.
Proud grandmother of Amanda Stanzel (Dylan), Brandon Vaughan, Blake Haskell, Breann Haskell, Eric Snelgrove, Ashley McCauley (Mike), Christopher Haskell and Cassandra Haskell.
Doting great-grandmother of Savannah and Junior Stanzel.
Dear sister to Barb DeBeck (Abe) of Chatham. Predeceased by her brothers Fred, Leroy and Lloyd Martin.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Joyce enjoyed sewing, playing cards, tending to her gardens with Ludwig, serving meals to friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As per Joyce’s wishes, she will be remembered privately by her family.
Donations made in memory of Joyce to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent or the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
