Obituary of Joyce Marion Sveda
SVEDA, Joyce Marion – passed away peacefully at Northland Pointe on Wednesday February 10, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Born in Port Colborne, she has lived in this area all of her life. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years Andrew Sveda (2019). Survived by her loving children Rick Sveda, Linda Moreau, Judy Sveda, Mark Sveda (Sherry), cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Michael Sveda, Grandson Justin Olm, great-granddaughter Madelyn Gratton, parents Harold and Margaret Gamm, brothers Ken and Harold Gamm and her sisters Shirley, Carol and Jean. Joyce enjoyed spending time in her gardens as well as playing cards with her family and friends. A special thank you to Port Colborne General Hospital, Welland County General Hospital as well as Northland Point for all the compassion and care over the last few years. Arrangements entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held at a later date in Overholt Cemetery.
