Taylor, Joyce Judith Marie
Passed away suddenly in Barrie, On, in her 79th year on August 10 2021, predeceased by her long time companion Rob Thompson . Loving mother to Kimberly Godin McCarthy (Rick), John Godin (Meghann), Shelagh (Brad), Glen Cabel and Kathleen Hill. Proud grandmother to Amber, Jessica and Wesley. Cherished aunt to Nicole (Patrick) Jocelyn (Steve) Troy (Karlie). Dear sister Sharon Beitz (David), Theresa Gethons (Jack), Fred Taylor (Ann), Melvile Taylor and Laurie Sararas (Ray), Jason Gethons and Christine Gethons – predeceased . Joyce was a retired pastry chef, she baked and cooked with such passion and was creative in everything she did. She loved her animals Siam & Missy. Joyce loved her Tim Hortons, Double Double and a sit by the lake to enjoy her day. Joyce had a special bond with her sister Sharon Bietz aka Thelma & Husband David who were her pillar of strength and was her earth angel. We would also like to thank her dear friend Lydia Fagents-Genno who had always stood by Joyce and supported her through her life. Thank you, Lydia you were her guardian angel. We are so grateful for your friendship with Joyce she truly loved you and appreciated you. A special thank you for the love prayers and support from Reverend Jim Woolcott from Living for Jesus, Orillia who showed his kindness, support and prayers. Joyce will forever be in our hearts and thoughts In keeping with Joyce’s wishes cremation has taken place and a family celebration of life will be held a later date.
