Kehn, Margaret Joyce:
Gone to sing “O Holy Night” in Heaven this Christmas after 70 years in the Holy Cross Church Choir. Joyce was released into the Lord’s arms on Saturday, December 18 at the age of 88 years.
Joyce was the office administrator for many years for the Musician’s Association Local 226, a life time member of K-W Musical Productions, and in her spare time played Trivial Pursuit with a group of girlfriends. She attended a carol sing (masked and socially distant) with the Church choir seated in the front row on Thursday, Dec. 2. She suffered a stroke on Dec. 7 (which was Richard’s birth date) and never recovered.
Beloved wife of the late Richard Kehn.
Loving mother to Jennifer (Claude) Massicotte, Jim (Valerie) Kehn, and Sarah Kehn.
Grammie of Chantal and Philip (Tasha) Massicotte, Krista (Andrew) Cater, Breanna (Jordan) Parker, Alycia (Alan) Bingeman, Mitchell (girlfriend Rebecca) Kehn and Kaylia Hachman.
She will be missed by her great grandchildren Leighton, Gracen, and Callum Massicotte, Blake and Drew Cater, Owen Bingeman.
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Oliver and Margaret English, her brother Jim and his wife Marilyn.
The Kehn family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Visitation will continue from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (322 East Ave. Kitchener). Funeral service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Pastor Nolan Astley officiating. Private burial to follow.
