June 24, 1953 – December 27, 2021
Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with family by her side on Monday, December 27, 2021 in her 68th year.
Joyce Mary-Anne Hack of Eganville, beloved wife of the late Murray Hack of Pembroke. Loving mother of Evelyn Hack (Rick Corneau) of Arnprior, Lorna Mielke (Kevin Rhode) of Eganville, George Hack of Elmvale, Teresa Hack (Darwyn Turcotte) of Pembroke and step mother of Daniel Blanchette. She was a caring grandmother of Brady and Kyle Corneau, Brandon Hack, Haley and Cassandra Hass, Eric Hack and Abigail Mielke. Great grandmother of Briella, Liam and Sophie. She will be missed by her furry companion Luna.
Joyce was the daughter of the late Ralph and Genevieve Layman (Turcotte) of Petawawa. Sister of Joey Layman (Brenda) of Pembroke, Willard (Anita) of Pembroke, Helen (Adam) Williams of Englehart and Tracy (Jason) Hardwick of Pembroke. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, friend, family and her side kick Shirley Corneau of Arnprior.
Professional services have been entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville where visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm. A private service will be held in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow beside her late husband Murray in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. Those wishing to express their sympathy may do so by donation to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation in memory of Joyce for their exceptional care with her during her final days.
