It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing Monday, December 27, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Son of the late William and late Mary Jane (née Nolan) Shields. Loving husband of 67 and a half years to Yvonne (née Prevost) Shields. Father to Diane (Régent) and Nancy. Predeceased by his son Dan (Rita “Red”). Dear brother to Veronica (late Tommy). Predeceased by his siblings Alice (Gordon), John “J.P” Patrick (Phyllis), Lawrence (Mary), Noreen (Lloyd), Marie, Aileen (Joseph), Bernice, Jackie and Leo. Grandfather to Serge, Alain, Joël, Samuel, Liam, Julie and Denis. Great-grandfather to Philomène and Lucien. The family would like to thank all Healthcare professionals for their work and support over the past 2 years. As per the family’s wishes, a service will be held at a later date.
