At his home on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, Joseph Charles Kuranyi of Rodney at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Erna (Kempyn) for 66 years.
Dear father of Linda (John) Bakker, Nancy Carey (Wayne), Elaine (Bob) Gray, Esther (Steve) Smith, Randy (Diane) Kuranyi and Sharon (Jim) Stepniak.
Loving grandfather of Jonathon (Anne), Sara (Tim), Joshua, Amy (Tony), Jasmine (Zach), Grant (Ginger), Joe (Torie), Jessica (Jordan), Rebecca (Matt), Vanessa, Melissa (Alex), Scott (Megan), Ryan, Nathalie, Crystal, Kate, Alicia, Jenna (Mike).
Also survived by many great grandchildren.
Dear brother of Julie, Betty, Stephen, Anne and Michael.
Predeceased by his brother George and sister Cathy.
Also survived by his brother and sister in law, Mike and Ardeth Bildy and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Joe was well known in the community of West Elgin through his contributions to the 4H and the Rodney Kiwanis club.
