AULTMAN, Joseph Henry
Joe Aultman passed peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was 97 years old. Joe was predeceased by his wife Dolores “Dolly” (DeQuesnay) (1924-2010). He was the beloved father of Gerald (Karen) of Callander, Phyllis Young (Rick) of Callander, Charlene Whitehead (David) of Arnstein and Peter (Debbie) of Powassan. He will be lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren: Tony (Kim), Carrie (Dan), Tammy (Kevin), Mandy (Jeff), Trevor (Drew), Todd (Peggy), Christine, Jody (Jenn), Angela, Crystal (Jeff) and Tara-Lynn (Brandon) and many great-grandchildren. Joe was the last of his generation and was predeceased by his parents Agnes (Peters) and Nicholas Aultman; and his siblings Hubert, Clarence, Vernon and Leonard Aultman, Dorothy Hummel, Theresa Piekarski and Mary Magdellan Aultman. Joe was a long-time boat builder at Giesler Boatworks. He was well known for his carpentry skills, and for carrying on Gus’ Shoe and Hockey Repair. Joe was happiest when his family was gathered around him. A private interment service will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek, beside his beloved wife Dolly.
