Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joseph Arthur “Kenny” Breau announces his passing, which occurred on Sunday, September 26th, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Chatham, NB, on October 11th, 1940, he was the oldest son of the late Arthur and Mary (Kenny) Breau. A young Kenny loved anything with an engine, from fast cars to motorcycles. It was only natural that he would spend many years in the air force before commencing his 35-year career as an oil delivery driver for Irving Oil
Kenny will be remembered for his strength, his quick wit and dry humour. Kenny loved to tell a story, to travel and to go for a drive. He was patient, kind, loving and always there to listen without judgment. Those who knew Ken, loved him dearly.
Kenny was the definition of strength and perseverance; he fought a long battle with multiple heart and lung diseases without a single complaint. Kenny passed with his family by his side – his Daughter, Jenny (Peter), Son, Adam (Katherine), Mother of his Children, Debbie (Mike), and his Brother, Robert (Lanie). In addition to his family above, he will by dearly missed by his daughter Ruthann, his grandchildren, Peyton, and Baby Breau (Due October 2021) as well as many nieces, nephews, his special friends, Tanya Scribbans and Anthony Adams and his beloved cats, Chloe and Lucky.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). A graveside service will be held at the Chance Harbour Cemetery on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 1:00 PM. Donations in Kenny’s Memory may be made to the Saint John Animal Rescue League.
