JONES DIANE ELAINE nee LOUGHEED 2021

Passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, at the Creedan Valley Care Community, Creemore, on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Elaine Jones, formerly of Tay Township, beloved wife of the late Ronald Jones. Cherished mother of Andy (Leah), Warren (Sarah Lynne Maloney) and Lee Anne (Daryn Thompson). Predeceased by her daughter Colleen. Lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren Alyssa and Rob, Mason, Cecily, Sheigh Lynn and Kaleigh, Jaclyn and Stephanie and Tyler, and 2 great grandchildren, Lily and Violet. Dear sister of Mac (Kate) Lougheed and Doug (Marj) Lougheed.
Elaine wore many hats throughout her lifetime. She was a teacher, an office manager, and served her community with roles in the local Liberal Party, Ontario Pork Producers and Federation of Agriculture. She was a long time member of Ebenezer Church where she played the organ for decades and more recently Unity United and Creemore United Churches.
Cremation has taken place.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
If desired, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
