Went to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 23, 2021 at 94 years of age. Beloved husband of Jean Babiuk (nee Kaminski) for over 55 years. Loving father of Cynthia Cheung and Paul (Rhonda) Babiuk. Cherished Grandpa of Josiah (Sarah), Joshua, Rebecka, Lukas and Bethany. Adored great grandfather of Maddox, Kaidyn, Jack, Harper and Emma. Dear brother of Jeanette (Mark) Lariviere and the late Iris and Mary. Brother-in-law of Helen McGregor. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. John retired from Chrysler Canada after 25 years of service. John was involved for many years at Windsor Christian Fellowship. He was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan. John loved his fur children Tiny and Tabby. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Es (519-776-4233) on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation is limited to a specific number of visitors. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Please book an appointment at www.reidfuneralhome.ca. Everyone must wear a mask. Cremation and a private family celebration of John’s life will take place. If desired, memorial donations made to Windsor Christian Fellowship or Windsor Life Centre would be appreciated.
