Obituary of John Andrew Laing
LAING, John Andrew passed away peacefully at Norview Lodge Simcoe on Sunday January 17, 2021 in his 90th year. Dear husband of Ruth, loving father of Mary Anne and Bill (Norah) and proud grandfather of Reed. John was the third generation to live in Port Dover. Growing up on the “Crick” he enjoyed boating and fishing he liked to hunt but real enjoyment came living the cottage life at Gravelly Bay. John was a longtime employee of Thomas A Ivey where he held many positions. The family would like to thank the staff at Norview Lodge for their care and compassion they gave John. Due to Covid restrictions all services will be held at a later date. Services entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME Port Dover 519-583-1530.
