He is survived by his common law partner Linda Palmerton.
Daughters Terry(Sheldon) Nichols. Marcia(David) Cropley.
Virgina(Brad deceased)Potts. Sons Peter(Kerri Lynn Drummond) Burns.and Adam(Marcie)Burns.
Granddaughters Holly,Pam,Mary and Lauren.Grandsons Hudson and Harper.
Great grandson Landon. Great Granddaughters Sarah,Alexis,Samantha and Lennox.
Step daughter Shelly Lancaster. Step grandsons Micheal and Mark. Surviving nieces and nephews.
Wife Francis Burns. Sister Ivy Cross brother Wilford(Goldie)Burns.
He was pre-deceased by daughter Cindy(Leroy)Marshall. His parents John and Beatrice(Woodworth)Burns. Sisters Leola,Elmyra and stepson Raymond Foster.
John was a volunteer fireman at Nictaux fire department for 20 years. He worked several years in construction and the dry cleaning business. He retired completely in 2013.
He loved to dance,laugh,sing,play his guitar often,play cards and go for drives.
He was reasonably liked by most people and most loved by those who cared.
Due to covid services at a later date.
