Wayne Gooch
It is with deep regret that we announce the death of J. Wayne Gooch, on October 7, 2021 at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 83 years.
Wayne resided in Winnipeg, Manitoba and left to cherish his memory are his daughter Gina (Jayson); brother Gary (Ruth); sister Diane; nieces Val and Judy (Garnett); nephew David (Lisa); great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephew, and his many dear friends. Wayne was predeceased by his loving wife, Elsie Dunsmore (nee: Mackling) and his son Alan.
Wayne grew up in Winnipeg, lived in Russell, MB with wife Elsie, and then Winnipeg again and wintered in Weslaco, Texas. Wayne enjoyed gardening and the fruits of his labour. He had a real joy for eating burgers, food in general, hobbies and most important to him was that he loved his families and enjoyed time with his dear friends in which he would have no shortage of words. Wayne always had a smile on his face and a unique way of navigating his world.
No service will be held as per Wayne’s request.
