On January 19, 2021, Mr. John ‘Ted’ Koska of Elk Point, formerly of Edmonton, passed away, the day after his 86th birthday. Ted played professional football & married the love of his life, Pat who was a cheerleader. He is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Pat; 2 daughters, Terry Shankowski (Lorne Young) & Jodi Boyko; the loves of his life, his 6 grandchildren, Taryn Shankowski (Tyler Ramsay), Karly (Shayne) Cusack, Tanner Shankowski (Seanna Leaf), Kent Boyko (Sherida Germain), Kole Boyko & Kara Boyko (James Braga); 2 great-grandchildren, Navy & Boone Cusack; 2 sisters, Elsie Huk & June Proznik; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mike & Mary; & sister, Angela Fasenko. A Celebration of Ted’s Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
