John Ray Waite
1949-2021
Waite – Peacefully,
surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside,
on Thursday, February 11, 2021, of John Waite, of Summerside, aged 71
years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of Elizabeth
“Betty” (Tuplin) (late Wendell) Lyle and the late Ernest
Waite. Survived by his wife Joan (Croken) Waite; brothers Terry
(Judith), Ron (Barb), Kenny (Betty) and Thane (Cathy) Waite; sisters
Nancy Heaney and Lori (Mike) Abbott; brothers-in-law Allan Croken and
Leonard Croken; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his
sister Linda Waite and brother-in-law Kenneth Heaney. Resting at Moase
Funeral Home, Summerside. A private family visitation and funeral mass
will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Summerside. Interment
later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations
to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Foundation or International Children’s Memorial Place would
be appreciated.
