John passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital, on Sunday, February 21, 2021, aged 81. In our hearts you will always stay and be remembered every day by his loving wife Doreen and extended family. A special thank you to David, Jane, Rebecca and Andrew for their love and support. Born in 1939 in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire, England and served in the Royal Navy for ten years. He married his wife Doreen in 1961 and they immigrated to Canada in 1971. John worked at De-Havilland/Bombardier Aircraft in Downsview until retirement. John’s hobbies included horseback riding, fishing, reading, and listening to classic music.
A private family memorial service will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday, February 25.
