Jack was a hard worker all his life, working at RA Templetons Ltd. during the day and doing hobbles most nights and weekends. Jack “couldn’t say no”-nothing was too much trouble when it came to his family and friends.
He loved going to the country with his “Boys-John and Paul” and their friends. Jack loved a good laugh with them all. He adored his 5 grandkids and loved even more teasing and tormenting them, all in jest of course and they dearly loved their “slow poke” poppy.
A special thanks to the staff on 4NA of the HSC, Paramedics, emergency room staff, CCU staff, Bonnie Hobbs social worker, and comfort care staff. Also would like to thank Father Tony Bidgood of St. Theresa’s Parish for his prayers and kind words.
No service will be held due to covid regulations, a celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Benevolent Irish Society (BIS) by e transfer: bis1806@yahoo.ca or by cheque mailed to PO Box 1034, St. John’s, NL A1E 5M3.
