Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John “Jack” Rumsey. Jack passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday October 28th, 2021.
He was predeceased by his parent, Clinton Francis Rumsey and Elizabeth Jane (Dyer); sisters Diane (2004) and Bertha (2021), Great grandson Richard (2018). He is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 63 years; daughters Beverley and Susan (Dean); son Rob; Grand daughter Stacey (John); Grandson Ryan, and several Great Grandchildren.
Jack was employed with Morgan’s Garage, COOP Hardware and Shell Canada, as a field operator. For almost 25 years, as well as being the owner and operator of Badger Engraving. Jack enjoyed bowling and in 1978, earned a spot on the Provincial team, going to Thunder Bay for Nationals and placing fourth overall. He belonged to the Masters Bowling Association and was also on the board of the Fred Huddleston Centre for several years.
Jack will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
