John Donald MacArthur May 26-1958 to March 3rd 2021.
John aged 62 passed away peacefully at the VIctoria General Hospital in Halifax on March 3rd. 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Halifax he was the son of Eveyln MacArthur (Fitzner) and the late Roderick MacArthur. John will be dearly missed by his wife Debbie and sons Michael and Anthony. He is survived by his sisters Patricia Harnish (Paul), Evelyn Bent (Larry), Marion Power (Jeff), Ann MacArthur, brothers Neil MacArthur (Yolande) Leo MacArthur (Donna) Rod MacArthur (Corrine) Anthony MacArthur, Paul MacArthur,Jamie MacArthur(Irene) and his mother Evelyn MacArthur.John enjoyed working as a bartender at the Chiefs and Petty’s Officers Mess at C.F.B. Halifax for 35 years. He also enjoyed fishing with his brother Rod for a number of years. He had lots of nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by all.
