With his children by his side, John Cseff passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the age of 71, after enduring a 14 year battle with cancer. Born on May 30, 1950 in Vocklabruck, Austria to parents John and Mary Cseff. They immigrated to Canada in 1954, and settled in the small town of Aylmer, Ontario. He is predeceased by his parents, and also his wife of 44 years, Kathryn.
John is survived by his 3 children: Eric, Adam (Jocelyn), and Karyn (Michael); his sister Rosemarie (Dan); and the apples of his eye, his two granddaughters Selina, and Logan. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, John spent the past 45+ years making a name for himself in the field of Engineering, specializing in mining and concrete silos. John was a lifelong athlete who enjoyed playing basketball and football, and was a big fan of the Raptors and the Broncos.
Visitation will be held at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home in Milton, 114 Main St. E. on Saturday, October 9, from 11am-2pm, followed by the service at 2pm. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 230 Ontario St.S., Milton.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions in Halton, attendance is limited. Please book your visitation time slot online in the RSVP section to ensure your attendance. These booked visitation times are strict, so we ask that you show up for entrance at your allotted time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in John’s name.
