John Colin McKENZIE — Lower Sackville
Born 1971 in Halifax, son of Ken and Charlene McKenzie of Lower Sackville, died June 10, 2021 in Hospice Halifax. He is survived by his parents and brothers, Ken and Kris. John attended Dalhousie University and worked for Halifax International Airport for several years. John was a font of knowledge. Whenever anyone had a question, John had the answer; particularly when it came to computers and the internet. He participated in the creation of several computer games for a New England firm. John lived in Lower Sackville. John developed an interest in astronomy. Whenever there was anything interesting going on in the heavens, out came the telescope. He will be missed.
