John Broderick Bennett passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Sunset Manor, Collingwood in his 88th year. John, son of the late Robert and Emmiline Bennett (nee Broderick); is survived by his sons John Charles, Jeffery Arthur and his daughters Katherine Elizabeth and Cynthia Jane. Husband of the late Marie McDonald and the late Dorothy Lorraine Nelson. Grandfather of Lyndsay, Jacklynn, Nahanni and great-grandfather of Liam and Marcie. Dear brother of Alice Scott, Evelyn Edmunds and Fred Bennett. Also missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Stayner Union Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
