Obituary of Johannes F Arisz
On Friday January 22, 2021 John Arisz peacefully passed away at home in the presence of his family at the age of 81. John was born in Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1982.
He is survived by his lovely wife Wilma, three children: Hans (Diana), Judith (Doug) and Rob (Maria), 6 grandchildren: Angela, Chris, Brighid, Yanaelle, Brewen and Troy, and 5 greatgrandchildren: Pyeper, Raylan, Grayson, Maddie and Bridget. He is survived by 2 brothers (Leo and Henk) and in-laws (Nellie and John Dewinter, Gerry Sneekes, and Anne and Simon Sneekes).
John was owner of J&J Machine Shop for 25 years. He loved fishing, gardening, bird watching and playing bridge, but was unable to enjoy his passions due to his long-term struggles with Parkinson disease.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (433-1176.) There will be no visitation or service due to Covid-19. A celebration of life will be scheduled after the pandemic.
