Joe Fedoruk
Joe Fedoruk of Redwater passed away on December 20, 2021 in the town of Lamont at age 94.
Joe was born in Vegreville, Alberta to Katherine and Onufrey on February 12, 1927. Joe spent his life farming in the Mundare area, along with his wife, Bessie and family.
Joe was a lifetime member of the Spasa Maskalyk’s Parish and held the position of Secretary on the Parish Council for over 50 years.
Joe is survived by Bessie, his wife of 73 years; daughter, Donna (Mike); sons, Dennis (Maureen), Eugene, John, Joseph (Joanna) and Ted. He was Gido to 18 grandchildren; and SUPERGIDO to 22 great-grandchildren. Joe was the youngest of five children and the last of his family’s generation.
The family would like to express our sincere appreciation for the care and support provided to Joe by the nursing home staff at the Lamont Healthcare Nursing Home. Joe was a resident of the nursing home for many years, and the care he was provided was always of the highest standard; we thank you for that.
Funeral Service to be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Park Memorial Vegreville, 4818 – 50 Street, Vegreville, AB with interment in Spasa Maskalyk Cemetery.
Per the Restriction Exemption Program, you must provide proof of vaccinations (QR code with valid ID for those 18 years and older), or proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken within 72 hours of entry, or an original medical exemption letter.

Donations may be made in Dad’s name to the Lamont Health Care Centre – Patient Comforts, 5216 – 53 Street, Lamont, AB, T0B 2R0 or to the charity of one’s choice.
