Obituary of Joe Cummings
It is with sadness the family would like to announce the passing of Joseph Roy “Joe” Cummings, 83, who died at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on February 24, 2021. Born in Plumweseep, he was a son to the late Harry & Ethel (Wheaton) Cummings.
Joe will continue to be in hearts of his sister, Cassie Cummings of Plumweseep; his brothers in law: Russell Tabor and Warren Tabor of Hillsdale; his sister in law, Freda of B.C.; his nieces and nephews: Junior Tabor (Lisa), Patricia McLean (Wellington), Bernie Tabor (Sandra), Bryant Tabor (Bonnie), Janet Gregg and Ed Tabor; his special great nieces to whom he was like a grandfather: Ashlee Gregg and Jenna Gregg (Josh) his great nieces and nephews: Miranda McShane (Travis), Tyler McLean (Kaylee), Katelyn Horton (Leon), Michelle Biddington (Stephen), Michael Tabor (Brittany), Samantha Tabor (Adam), Trevor Tabor (Kira).
He was predeceased by his brothers: Fred, John and Ernest; his sisters: Isabelle Tabor and Mary Tabor; his infant sister, Annie and his nephew in law William Gregg.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at Wallace Funeral Home Community Chapel at 4:00pm following the visitation by invitation only. The interment will take place at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
