Obituary of Joan Kremers
Kremers, Johanna “Joan” of Avon passed away in St. Marys on Monday, February 15, 2021 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Kremers(1997). Dear mother of Nancy White(Bruce) of St. Marys, Greta Bryan of Tillsonburg, Tony Kremers(Marsha) of London and the late Ed Kremers(2019). Mother-in-law to Joanne Kremers of Avon. Loving grandmother of Mike(Nicole), Kathleen(Greg), Matthew(Nina), Shannon(Justin), Heather(Jason), Tabitha(Ryan), Lacey(Tim), Marc(Kim) and Gerrit. Also survived by her sister Mien, sisters-in-law Fien, Bets and Marie and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Meit, Annie, Bertha, Nelly, Ria, Sjeantij, Martina and brothers Harry, Johan and Pete. Born in Volkel, The Netherlands on October 25, 1926, daughter of the late Adrianus and Petronella (Van Oost) Somers. Joan took great pride in dairy farming. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church and the C.W.L. Her greatest joy came from her family. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 (Masks are required). Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Thursday, February 18, 2021 starting at 1:00pm. A private family funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Friday, Frbuary 19, 2021.
