Joan Rawluk
April 3, 1953 – October 11, 2021
Joan Rawluk passed away peacefully on October 11, 2021 with her children Kim and Kevin (Krista) by her side, knowing she was loved deeply by so many. She refused to be defined by her battle with cancer, living with a grace and optimism that inspired those around her. Joan gave her whole heart to her kids and was always there for them — from karate classes and Girl Guides all the way through law school and career changes. She was everything to them — master chef, proofreader, shopping buddy, secret-keeper, best friend, and more.
She treasured her large family, her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and her many close friends. Joan will be remembered for her large heart and giving nature, adventurous spirit, and her love of a good meal and Dairy Queen cake. Although we miss Joan more than words can say, we know she has been reunited with her beloved husband, Roy, and that they have already started their next adventure.
We love you, Mom. Always and forever together.
