Joan Elizabeth Townsend age 72 years of Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021 surrounded by her family at the Halifax Infirmary. Joan was born July 19, 1948 in Grand Lake, Nova Scotia. She is survived by her best friend and husband Ron Townsend, sons William (Bill) (Paula) McAllister, Lower Sackville, Graham (Carol) McAllister, Middle Sackville and daughters Teresa Rafuse-Ryan, Lower Sackville and Darlene Doucette Kane of Dartmouth. Grandchildren, Adam, Ashten, Terri-Lynn, Alex and Kelsea. Great grandchildren Aria, Brooklyn, Kayden, Cali, and Sierra. Loving baby babys Teddy Bear, Si and Willy. Predeceased by brother Jamie, sister Audrey and grandson Anthony. Cremation has taken place. A family burial will take place at a later date.
