Peacefully, with family at her side, on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at Hannah Walker Place, Owen Sound, in her 103rd year. Joan was the beloved wife of Herbert (2011) for close to 70 years. She is the loving mother of John and his wife Donna, Rick and his wife Teressa, Catherine and her husband John Donnelly, Bob, Frank, and Ted. She is the proud Grandma of David (Tammy), Michael (Beata), Matt (Nicole), Lucas, Chris (Marissa), Ryan, Paige (Matt) and Johnny; and Great Grandma of Rachel, Nick, Josh, Georgia, Scarlett, Nicholas, Henry and Sarah. The family wishes to express thanks to Summit Place Lodge for their compassionate care of their Mother over the past few years, and most recently to the care-givers of Hannah Walker Place where she was treated with utmost care.
