James “Jim” Albert Abell of Walkerton, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Fay (nee Wilson). Loving father of Kim Jones, Cindy (Ron) Carter all of Walkerton, Terry (Tabatha) of Owen Sound, Gord (Barb) of Paisley and Tammie Abell of Walkerton. He will be remembered by his many grand and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Peggy (Bill) Van Holten, Richard (Cyndy) Abell, all of Eden Grove, Ann (Derwyn) Taylor of Walkerton, Joyce (Brian) Woods of Eden Grove and Doug (Sherri) Abell of Formosa.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret (nee Ward) Abell.
A graveside service will take place in the spring at Douglas Hill Cemetery, Brant Township.
The family extends a sincere thank you to the Neurological Department at University Hospital, London Health Sciences and the Palliative Care Unit at the Walkerton Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
