Obituary of Jennie Koabel
KOABEL, Jennie – passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Rapelje Lodge in Welland in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband George in 1998, also predeceased by her son Richard and a great granddaughter. Dear mother of Dale (Joan), Marilyn, Sherry (Bill) and daughter-in-law Kathy. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Jennie was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school. She loved to sew clothing and donate it to poorer countries. A special thanks to the staff and care givers of Rapelje Lodge for their care and kindness. Arrangements entrusted to the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A private graveside service will be held at Overholt Cemetery.
