Jeffrey “Jeff David Houtby October 23rd 1974 June 4th 2021

It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Jeffrey “Jeff” David Houtby on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the age of 46. Beloved husband and best friend of Christine. Loving father of Jordan and Ethan. Cherished son of Doug and Kathie Houtby. Treasured son-in-law of Wendy Dunn (the late Allen Dunn). Dear brother of John (Trishia) and their children Liv and Stan. Remembered by his grandmother Audrey Willick, his brother-in-law Ken (Julie) Dunn and their children Matthew and Laura, and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Greatly missed by his Bird Club friends and many other friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Gordon Houtby (2016), Elaine Houtby (2000), Ray Willick (1980), and his brother-in-law Jason Dunn (2020). Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be fishing, visiting the cottage, or cutting down trees. He was an expert bonfire maker. Jeff loved his gardens and watching all of the birds with the “Kensington Bird Club”. He was always lending a hand to anyone in need. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are pending.

Sympathies message

  1. Christine and family I was so sorry to hear of your sudden loss. I enjoyed working with Jeff at Pollutech. I remember he was always so excited when he spoke about the cottage and the boat, making a rink in the backyard for the boys. He was just one of those genuine nice guys, hard worker always had a smile of his face. He will be missed but not forgotten.
