TROTTIER, Jeannine
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 92. She was born in Ottawa (ON) as the sixth of 14 children to the late Marie-Jeanne (née Gagnon) and the late Victor Perrault. Cherished wife of the late Frédéric Trottier with whom she shared 64 wonderful years. Loving mother of Marthe (Gilles LeBlanc), Lucie (Roger Sévigny) and Suzanne (Daniel Bernier). Devoted grandmother of Daniel, Damien (Jody), Elizabeth (Matthew), Michel (Cara), Stéphanie (Matt), Melissa (Phil) and adoring great-grandmother of Kevin, Sarah, Chloé, Charlotte, Tristan and Tessa. Dear sister of Marcelle (late Laurier) and Julie (Serge). Predeceased by her sisters Evelyne (late Donald), Annette (late Maurice), May (late Philibert) and brothers Jean-Marie (Annie Rose), Paul (late Suzanne), Robert (late Rollande), Philippe (late Denise), Maurice (late Jeanette), Pierre (Louise), Jude (Doddie), and Michel (Pierrette). Her many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will remember Jeannine with affection. Following a lengthy career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, she contributed to the success of her husband’s construction company, Fred Trottier Construction Ltd. The Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday December 11th at 10:30 at St-Sebastien Church, 1000 Frances Street, Ottawa (ON). Following Covid Protocol, attendance will be limited to registered guests. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of the Montfort Long Term Care Home for their compassionate care.

Décédée paisiblement le samedi 27 novembre 2021 à l’âge de 92 ans. Elle est née à Ottawa (ON), la sixième de 14 enfants de feue Marie-Jeanne (née Gagnon) et de feu Victor Perrault. Épouse bien-aimée de feu Frédéric Trottier, avec qui elle a vécu 64 merveilleuses années. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses trois filles qu’elle aimait tendrement : Marthe (Gilles LeBlanc), Lucie (Roger Sévigny) et Suzanne (Daniel Bernier). Grand-mère dévouée de Daniel, Damien (Jody), Elizabeth (Matthew), Michel (Cara), Stéphanie (Matt), Melissa (Phil) et arrière-grand-mère adorée de Kevin, Sarah, Chloé, Charlotte, Tristan et Tessa. Chère soeur de Marcelle (feu Laurier) et Julie (Serge). Prédécédée par ses soeurs Evelyne (feu Donald), Annette (feu Maurice), May (feu Philibert) et ses frères Jean-Marie (Annie Rose), Paul (feue Suzanne), Robert (feue Rollande), Philippe (feue Denise), Maurice (feue Jeanette), Pierre (Louise), Jude (Doddie) et Michel (Pierrette). Ses nombreuses belles-soeurs, beaux-frères, nièces, neveux, cousins et amis se souviendront de Jeannine avec affection. Après une longue carrière au sein de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, elle a contribué au succès de l’entreprise de construction de son époux, Fred Trottier Construction Ltée. La célébration de sa vie aura lieu le samedi 11 décembre à 10h30 en l’église St-Sébastien, 1000 rue Frances, Ottawa (ON). Conformément au protocole Covid, la participation sera limitée aux invités enregistrés. Au lieu de fleurs, vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à l’Institut de cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa. La famille tient à remercier le personnel du Centre de soins de longue durée Montfort pour les bons soins prodigués.
