Jeannette Marie ROCKWELL (LeBlanc) — Middle Sackville
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Jeannette Marie Rockwell (Leblanc) on October 31, 2021 to join her beloved husband, Merle, who recently passed. Born January 10, 1941 in Cap-Pele, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Leblanc (of Truro). She is survived by her children, Steven (Claire), Halifax; Michael, Beaver Bank; Darren, Middle Sackville; and Sandra (Shawn), Beaver Bank; sister, Louise Wilchuck, Truro; sister-in-law, Clara Leblanc, Truro; her many cousins in New Brunswick; grandchildren, Kacy, Brett, Matthew and Allison; and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Carter. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Leblanc; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Hodge and John Wilchuck. Mom was a long-time Treasurer of the TOPS Sackville Branch and so enjoyed her Wednesday evenings out with the members. Mom loved camping at Evangeline Beach, visiting her cousins in New Brunswick and family get-togethers over any holiday, but especially Christmas as it was her favourite time of year. Family interment in Brookside Community Cemetery, Bedford, will be on November 20th followed by a Celebration of Life for both her and our father in the Bedford Legion 2–4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Church of the Good Sheperd, Beaver Bank.
