Jeanne Marie Therese Vodon late of Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan and formerly of Virden, Manitoba beloved wife of the late Hubert Vodon and beloved mother of Ida, Denis and David passed away at Foyer D’Youville Long Term Care, Gravelbourg Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
A private family graveside service will be held at Virden Cemetery Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Benjamin Nwaeje officiating.
Jeanne was born March 11, 1934 to Cecile (Roy) and Fernand Delmaire at Wauchope, SK. Jeanne is survived by her children: Ida Johnson (Dean Senga), Denis (Nicole) Vodon and David (Lise) Vodon. Jeanne is also survived by her grandchildren: Jenna Johnson (Matt Anderson), Kyle (Desarai) Johnson, Jesse, Bailey, Levi & Jolene Vodon and great-grandchildren: Kane, Kasey, Nash & Esme. Jeanne is survived by her sister, Annette (Paul) LeNouail and sisters-in-law Cecile Delmaire, Lucina (Vodon) Decroliere, Denise (Kernel) Vodon, Mary-Louise (Hardy) Vodon and brother-in-law Leopold Vodon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Vodon, her parents Cecile (Roy) and Fernand Delmaire, as well as her brothers: Henri, Andre, Emile Delmaire.
