Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the age of 92. Loving and devoted wife of the late Leo Podetz. Predeceased by daughter Brenda Sherring (Jim) and son Norris Podetz (Ann). Loving mother to Donna Ellis (Michael), Lori Haywood (Russell), Stephen Podetz (Laurie McAlpine) and Lisa Bunda (Edsel Littlejohn). Proud grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 13. Sister of the late Edna Gillen (late Bill), Nellie Lawson (late Bob) and Arthur Whitehead (late Joyce).
Jean loved her garden, was passionate about her quilting and crocheting, and never turned down the opportunity to have tea with cookies, chocolates or sweets. She will be fondly remembered by her extensive family and friends. For those who wish, donations in memory of Jean to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
