Passed away peacefully, at the Village of Winston Park,
Kitchener, on Thursday, December 2, 2021, in her
99th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank
Bridges (2014). Dear mother of Skip (Judy) of Elora, Judy (John Kerr)
and Chris, all of Guelph. Much loved grandmother of Tracy (Luke), Dean
(Sarah Jane), Sherry (Mark) and Michael. Great grandmother of 12. Dear
sister of Marj Galbraith, Cliff Pettifer and Jane McRonald (Rick), all
of Guelph. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Patti, her sisters Alice
Irvine and Lettie Wells and by her brothers Albert, Norm and Wally
Pettifer. Jean was a long time member of St. David’s and St.
Patrick’s Church. She was a member of Rundle Chapter No.108
Order of The Eastern Star, where she served twice as Worthy Matron. A
private family service will be held at
GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre
& Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street,
Guelph with interment at Woodlawn Memorial
