Jason’s Obituary
BANKS, Jason Glenn ~ Age 38, of Middleton, formerly of Kingston, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 15, 2021. Born on August 12, 1982, he is survived by his immediate family – mother, Deborah Gillis; father, Glenn Banks (who has since passed away); and brother, Aaron Banks, all of Middleton, as well as a large extended family. Jason was an honest, dependable, and kind-hearted person, who was deeply loyal to his family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humour. In his younger years, when he enjoyed good health, Jason was a skilled sportsman, being an especially talented baseball player. He was a huge hockey fan, and loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. Jason enjoyed music of all genres and was an extraordinary guitarist. He was known as both a composer and performer. Jason was a member of several bands over the years and loved nothing more than jamming and spending time with his friends. He had impressive general knowledge and was skilled in many areas. Jason was a terrific cook. He was a handyman who could fix most anything – from mechanics to electronics to carpentry. Jason was fond of animals, and especially loved his pet cats, Mike and Chunk. Although his years on earth were short, he has hugely impacted the lives of so many people. He will be deeply missed and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Jason. A service in remembrance of Jason’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 22, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Rev. Dr. Danny Smith officiating. Due to pandemic gathering restrictions, there will be limited seating, masking, social distancing, and hand sanitizing are required. Interment will take place at a later date.
