Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jan at the Royal Victoria Hospital, on Thursday October 28th, 2021. She is the beloved mother of Jason, Neil (Mary Ann) of South River and Ashlee of Bracebridge. Most treasured grandmother of Madison, Breanna, Reagan and Cole.
Loved sister of Bruce (Toots) and his wife Bev of Rodney, sister–in-laws, Marge Traves of North Bay and Teresa (Fred) Follick of Kearney.
She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Jan spent 25 plus years working at South River Canada Post, she was a independent and proud mother and grandmother. Family was always first. She cherished the times spent with Family and friends.
Predeceased by her partner Mike Traves, parents Len and Elsie Payne and sister-in-law Laurel Traves, brother-in-laws Russell, Mitchell, Vince Traves.
In respecting Jan’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Private Graveside service will follow.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
