Janice Faye Digby Vesterfelt Sunday December 5th 2021

Janice “Faye” Digby was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and adoring wife to husband Dean Digby. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in the early hours on Sunday the 5th of December in her 71st year.
Faye was born in 1951 in Flinton, ON, and was the first of four children born into the family (of the late) Arnold and Elsie Vesterfelt.
Faye met her husband Dean in 1969, fell in love and married him in 1971. They then started building a family of there own. She was loyal, loving and kind to all. Not only raising her own three children, but spent 25 years as a foster parent, bringing hundreds of children into her loving home. Once retired she continued to help children by running an affordable home based child care service for her community.
In her free time she loved to visit with family, garden, take long walks, and paint landscapes and sceneries. She was also an amazing cook and baker!
Faye loved and respected her siblings, they were her best friends, Bob Vesterfelt (Sharon)of Marmora, Kathy Vanecho (Andy) of Madoc, and Janet Ellis (Tim) of Havelock.
Faye is survived by her husband, Dean Digby, her three children Mike Digby (Cathy) of Stirling, Kim Davis (Phil) of Deseronto, and Steven Digby of Deseronto, as well as her three granddaughter’s Dakota, Jadynn, and Sophie.
She will be greatly missed by all her family who adored her with all there hearts!
Due to covid there will be a small private celebration of Faye’s life, at the family residence on January 8th, 1-4
As we know Faye was a loved member of her community, we would love to share condolences online at rushnellfamilyservices.com
