LANGMAN, Janet Elizabeth (nee Clarke)
On Saturday, August 21, 2021 Janet Langman, with family by her side, passed away peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice. Janet, of Oro-Medonte, was in her 80th year. She will be dearly missed by her husband Norman Langman of 58 years. Lovingly remembered by her children Peter Langman (Lydie) of Oro-Medonte, Susan Langman (David Zimmerman) of Williamstown, Massachusetts and Heather Marassato (Dave) of Lively,Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Mackenzie, Dana (Ryan), Tyson, Bennett, Blake, and Curtis (predeceased). Beloved daughter of Warren and Dorothy Clarke, and sister Linda Clarke, all predeceased. Dear sister-in-law to Bob (predeceased) and Eileen Langman, and Allan Langman (Diane Robertson). Affectionately remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Janet dedicated her life to her family, friends, and church. She taught Sunday School for 42 years, served with Baptist Women, sang for several years in the choir, and participated in The Living Christmas Tree. Janet loved gardening, crafting, and baking special treats for her grandchildren. Her apple pie, cookies and chocolate cake were definite favorites. Janet and Norman spent time over the years traveling to various places throughout Canada and the United States, camping in their trailer. They also enjoyed cruises which brought them to Alaska and the Panama Canal.
A celebration of her life will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Orillia ON, on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 1p.m. for family and friends. To attend in person please register at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
