On December the 18th, 2021 The LORD took to Himself our dearly beloved husband, father, opa and great opa at the age of 82. Cherished husband of Gerda Dekker for 57 wonderful years. Loving father to Wynie (John) Dearlove, Ankie (Jack) Werdekker, Phil (Rachel) Dekker and Lynn Dekker (Britton). Proud opa of Jacob (Lindsay), Lindsay (Ben), Emily (Hugh), Zachary, Sheldon (Becky), Gavin, Kayla, Abby, Nathan, Silas, Luke (Kelli), Alise, Eliana and Marcos. Great opa to Oakley John. Predeceased by son-in-law Shane Britton. Will be missed by his family in The Netherlands.

Friends and family will be received at Providence United Reformed Church on December 22, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Providence United Reformed Church on December 23, 2021 at 11:00am. A private family interment will take place at Strathroy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to Word & Deed Ministries or Mission to the World (Confex & Mwai Makhalira) would be appreciated by the family.
