James’ Obituary
Crouse, James Leslie – Age 75 of Enfield, formerly of Bloomington, Annapolis Co., passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at Magnolia Continuing Care, Enfield. Born in Bloomington Jim was a son of the late Donald and Sylvia (Garber) Crouse. Jim worked most of his career in Ontario driving truck. He also ran a scrap yard which gave him the nickname ‘Scrap’ by friends there. When his health began to fail, he returned home to Nova Scotia. Jim will be sadly missed and never forgotten by those who knew him. He is survived by his dear friend and partner, Gloria MacDonald, Truro; son, James (Jody) and their children, Shayla and Chad, Sarnia ON; stepchildren, Debra Ouellette, Sarnia, ON, Mary Lou (Milan)Williams, Grimsby, ON, Karen (Charlie) Robar, Sarnia ON, Kenneth Meloche, Hamilton, ON; sisters, Janet Reeves, Middleton, Julie Gordon, Middleton, Judy Robar, Torbrook; brother, Jack Crouse, New Ross; brothers -in-law, Melvin Anderson, Wilmot, Sonny Robar, Meadowvale; uncle, Blair (Barb) Crouse, Brickton; several nieces and nephews in Ontario and Nova Scotia; special fur friend (cat), Monkey. Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by common-law spouse, Myrtle (Snelgrove) Meloche; sister, Joan; brother, John. Cremation has taken place a graveside service will be held at a later date in Nictaux Cemetery.
