James Harold Chambers
James Harold Chambers – 64, Oxford, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst, NS. Born in Tatamagouche, he was a son of the late Harold and Audrey Mae (Donovan) Chambers.
Jimmy was a very caring and kind person and loved everyone. Although he was quick to correct you if he didn’t agree. He enjoyed his time at Shady Rest in Oxford, loved to work and took his job seriously. Jimmy loved to watch game shows and eat his favorite snacks especially Subway and KFC. He enjoyed listening to his CD’s and playing bingo. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
Survived by his stepfather, William Lewis; siblings, Bev (Bill) Tucker, ON, Carolyn (Clarence) Murphy, South Branch, Peggy, Londonderry, Frances (Norm) Cartier, SK, Lucy (Scott) Wile, Brookfield; sister-in-law, Michelle Chang, ON and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Perry and brother-in-law, Ross.
There will be no service at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Interment will take place at a later date in Forest Hills Cemetery, Denmark. Arrangements are under the care of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Condolences to the family may be made by visiting www.ColchesterCommunity.com
