James Crabe Thursday March 25th 2021

Passed away peacefully on March 25, at Lakeridge Hospital in Ajax in his 84th year, with his nephew Bruce by his side.
James, the youngest of five brothers, was born in St Thomas, Ontario. He worked the family farm near Fingal for many decades before retiring to Crescent Care at Bonnie Place in St Thomas.
James was a truly kind and gentle man who cared for his parents in their declining years. He had a mischievous smile and an uncanny talent for crocheting. James enjoyed entertaining others with songs and limericks and always had an old wives’ tale for the problem at hand.
James especially loved raising Chihuahuas.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Russel Crabbe -1977 and Mary Lazenby -1981, brothers John (Joyce), Bill (June), Frank, Len (Jean), niece Penny and nephew Earl. Survived by sister-in-law Viola, nieces Carolyn and Heather (Dennis), nephews Terry (Dawn), Daniel (Audrey) and Bruce (Marilyn). He will be deeply missed by his large extended family and friends.
A service will be held this summer at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Fingal where his ashes will be laid to rest with his parents.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
