Died suddenly in his 85th year at home on March 24, 2021. Beloved husband of Johanna (nee Schafer) dear father of Jason (Eden) and cherished grandpa of Matthew and Aiyannah. He is survived by his sister Mona Ferguson (Ernie) and brother in law Frank Decarlo (Gisela, deceased). Predeceased by his brother Donald and his sister in law Eloise. He was the son of Bob Peirson & Grace McDermid.
Before entering Real Estate in 1986 he had 30 years in construction history, farm buildings, residential and commercial buildings. He was a trainer for R2000 Energy Efficient Housing, President of the Peterborough and district Home Builders Association 1987 – 1990, past Director of the Peterborough Real Estate Board and in 1991 received designation as member of the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM).
Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
