John “Jack” Carl Lindenschmidt of Walkerton, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Village Retirement Residence, Hanover. Jack was 88.
Father to Tina (Harold) Schmidt, and Dave Lindenschmidt both of Ayton. Grandpa to Katrina, Mitchell, Alex, Tony, and great grandpa to Blake and Nolan. He will be remembered by his stepchildren Charles (Winnie) Vandenberg of Saskatchewan, Dorothy (John) Voordenhoot of Brantford, Albert (Alice) Vandenberg of Alberta, John Vandenberg of Alberta, Gerry Vandenberg of Springfield, Paul (Jen Hose) Vandenberg of Angus, Betty (Rick) McCabe of Springfield, Sharon (Mike) Sauve of Cornwall, and Greg (Amanda Rivers) Vandenberg of Angus.
Jack was predeceased by his son Tim, parents Henry and Pearl Lindenschmidt, siblings Bob Lindenschmidt, Doug Lindenschmidt, Ruth Conners, Ron Lindenschmidt, daughters-in-law Jill Vandenberg, Kim Vandenberg, and his long-time companion Barb Vandenberg.
