Ivan James Frame August 11 2021

Frame, Ivan James – Age 69 of Shubenacadie, passed away August 11, 2021 in his sister’s home in Enfield. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Albert “Pete” and Annie (Horne) Frame.
Ivan was an avid gardener, golfer and wood worker. He always enjoyed reading and after his accident enjoyed listening to audio books and bird watching. Surviving are his wife, Albertine; children, Heather (Morris), Sarah, Christopher; step-children, Caroline (Brad), Jeffrey, Trina (John); siblings, Anne Marie, Kathryn (Lloyd), Donna (Robert), Bill (Debbie), Marion, Joan, Lois (Brian), Judy (Fred), John (Trina), Burt (Liz), Linda (Jimmy); 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Donald; sister, Ethel in infancy; brother-in-law, Lawrence; sister-in-law, Trudy.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m., in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Enfield, with Father Michael Walsh officiating.
Burial will be held in St. Bridget’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Shubenacadie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Many thanks to Anne Marie, Marion, Linda, Jimmy and Lloyd for the wonderful care Ivan received following his accident. Thank you as well to the VON for their support allowing Ivan to stay in his home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
